Brooklyn Beckham is estranged from his brother, Romeo, however the siblings could bump into each other tonight at the iconic Met Gala

Brand Beckham faces a huge test tonight if brothers Romo and Brooklyn come face-to-face. The siblings have been estranged for a year after Brooklyn, 27, swerved his dad’s 50th birthday with wife Nicola Peltz, 31, before going nuclear on his family with that Instagram post back in January.

Following the fracas, in which Brooklyn declared he has no desire to reconcile with his family ever, the brothers have remained estranged. However, tonight they’re both rumoured to be attending the Met Gala with their partners, in scenes that will hit all the headlines.

Seen out in New York this weekend at Teyana Taylor’s pre-Met party, Romeo flashed a huge grin with his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, who was dressed in double denim.

Fans will remember that Kim was once good pals with Brooklyn and was forced to defend herself when the drama with the famous family kicked off, insisting she had never dated the hot sauce enthusiast and that she had nothing to do with the fallout.

Brooklyn and Nicola swerved the Met Gala last year when the drama had just kicked off; they are expected to be there tonight among a whole host of famous faces.

Brooklyn has not made any contact with his family since things kicked off last year, notably swerving birthdays and other memorable occasions, including little brother Cruz’s debut gig in London.

Last month, Victoria, who was said to be ‘on the floor’ after Brooklyn’s Instagram reveal in January, spoke for the first time about the family feud with her son and Nicola, saying she and David have always tried to protect their kids.

In a post, which “broke the Internet”, Brooklyn issued a statement claiming his mother and father had “constantly disrespected” his wife Nicola, triggering a major family breakdown with little indication of reconciliation.

Speculation swirled about the family’s future, and while David, who had spoken up about other issues in the soccer world, addressed his children mere days after the statement, Victoria had remained silent on the matter until now.

When questioned directly about the dispute between her family and son Brooklyn, she avoided naming him specifically but responded, “I think that we’ve always — we love our children so much.

“We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be. And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”

It was previously reported that Brooklyn had blocked his younger siblings on Instagram, as well as his parents.
