During the Canadian Premier League semifinal on Saturday, Nov. 7 between Cavalry FC and FC Supra du Québec, Alessandro Biello was tossed for bullying a ball kid.

In stoppage time of the second half with Cavalry FC up 2-0, the Supra midfielder ran up to the kid, who was standing on the sideline holding a ball, ripped the ball out of his hands and shoved him. The kid fell backwards over a barrier.
The referees reviewed the incident, and Biello was handed a red card and ejected from the match. When the penalty was given, the kid faced the crowd, lifted his arms in the air and jumped up and down in celebration.
Cavalry FC won the game and beat Supra 3-2 on aggregate. The Calgary-based club will face Atlético Ottawa, which beat Forge FC, in the Canadian Premier League final on Nov. 21. The game will be a rematch of last season’s title game for the North Star Cup, which Ottawa won 2-1 in a blizzard.
