Cartier has expanded its LOVE Unlimited collection with an all-gold necklace that introduces a new way of wearing the line, alongside a variant of the bracelets and rings that sets diamonds in place of the iconic LOVE screws, both of which have been created in response to the boundless vision of love that the collection was designed to express.

The necklace unfurls like a golden ribbon and has been designed to drape elegantly around the neck, with a fluid arrangement of gadrooned links interspersed with the distinctive LOVE screws, and it is available in rose gold, yellow gold or rhodium-plated white gold.

The new bracelets enhance the radiance of LOVE Unlimited with a series of 0.80-carat round diamonds, which Cartier has set in a screw-shaped setting devised specially for the collection and crafted in white gold even on the rose gold and yellow gold versions, a detail intended to enhance the appearance and brilliance of the stones.

Every LOVE Unlimited bracelet and necklace is assembled from 200 miniaturised components, each of which is polished by hand, and for the new diamond bracelets that precision is compounded by the task of setting stones that have been selected according to the Maison’s exacting criteria.

The diamond bracelet can be attached to another bracelet by way of an invisible clasp patented by Cartier, so it can be worn as a pair, layered with the original all-gold bracelet or combined in whichever way the wearer prefers.

The collection traces its roots to 1969, when the designer Aldo Cipullo created the LOVE bracelet in New York, a piece that reflected its era by embracing a radical and boundless freedom to love and whose cultural legacy LOVE Unlimited continues today. Cartier has dedicated a campaign shot in Paris to that vision, in which a couple in love share their emotions along the Seine, a river that unfurls like a ribbon and serves as a metaphor for infinity, and the story is also told through Jacob Elordi, the cosmopolitan hero of an intimate and sensory photo series shot by his sister, Isabelle Elordi.
