It’s not looking good for James Acaster on the Celebrity Traitors after he refused to get involved in the mission and seemed to throw one of his fellow Traitors under the bus
The Celebrity Traitors fans are convinced it’s the end of the road for Traitor James Acaster.
The comedian has taken quite the journey on the BBC show, starting as he wanted – as a Faithful – before he was recruited by Richard E Grant and Maya Jama. Known as a the most Faithful Traitor, James has also been labelled as the unlikely heartthrob of this year.
However, it looks like his time could be up with his latest move. During the mission, the Traitors were tasked to earn money for the prize pot by moving around to build a new shield whilst simultaneously destroying others.
James refused to move as he had Michael Sheen and Bash either side of him but that caused chaos between the three Traitors as Kenny and Maya accused him of hanging them out to dry.
One fan noted: “Whilst I agree with James A’s decision to stay still, he really should have taken his blindfold off at least. He really left the others out to dry then,” with another replying: “Showed a lack of solidarity. But I think he was so scared that even the noise of that could give him away. But being the “faithfuls traitor” is not a strategy that will work long term. The other traitors see him as a liability. Kenny will be gunning for him after the perfume comment.”

Another fan shared: “He was situated between two pretty switched-on faithfuls. Maya and Kenny were next to each other and could therefore move towards each other and away from the faithful on their other side – poor James could only move towards a faithful. I don’t blame him at all.”
Fans are convinced Kenny is actually playing the best game, with one sharing: “Even Kenny and Maya would have to admit that because they did exactly the same and were both too scared to get too close to Michael when it came to it.
“It just wasn’t worth the risk. Maya made a massive error with the puzzle too so it’s not like James was the only one potentially costing them. Kenny’s strategy of walking around was clever.”
We know that the next murder is between Sebastian (Bash), Miranda and Romesh – but after that we will go to another roundtable and anyone is up for the chop.
Will Kenny and Maya turn the heat on James in the next roundtable?
