Chargers lineman Ben Cleveland has been arrested again.
Roughly a year and a half after being arrested for DUI, Cleveland was arrested for speeding in Oconee County, Ga., police records show.
On July 16, Cleveland was booked into jail at 10 a.m. before being released shortly before noon that same day, per the records. He was also charged with violating the conditions of his limited driving permit and paid a total of $1,224 in bond.
Cleveland, 27, is attempting to stick with the Chargers after being released from the Ravens following a suspension under the league’s substance abuse policy.
In February 2025, Cleveland was arrested for DUI after allegedly blowing a BAC of .178.
He was also cited for failing to maintain his lane, and allegedly admitted to cops to having “three or four beers” beforehand.
Cleveland was suspended for three games by the NFL in December 2025 after pleading guilty to DUI the month prior.
He was then released by Baltimore on Jan. 1 this year.
Cleveland’s last year has also been tumultuous in his personal life, as he filed for divorce from his wife, Kaitlyn, in June 2025.
The former University of Georgia star was selected by Baltimore in the third round of the 2021 draft and spent the first five years of his career there.
He suited up in 64 games for the team (seven starts) as he established himself as a trusted backup.
Cleveland joined the Chargers on a one-year, $1.215 million deal in the offseason.
The team has not commented publicly on his most recent arrest.
