Cher Lloyd has shared some telling posts, perhaps hinting at the real reason for her marriage split, just a day after sharing her ring from her husband is ‘in the bin’
Cher Lloyd has hinted at the real reason for her marriage split from hairdresser husband Craig Monk, as she has reposted Instagram stories praising intuition and wanting a deep connection.
A recently reposted Instagram Reel from Cher showed a video with a message that read “I will buy you anything you want”, with the video then cutting to images of couples holding hands and hands entwined together, symbolising true love, with the message: “no u can’t”.
The caption for this post read: “What happened to old-school love? When trust came naturally, loyalty meant something, and people weren’t afraid to genuinely care for each other.”
Another re-post was an image of Jessica Alba with the caption that spoke about intuition: “Source? My gut feeling. My intuition. Super symbolic dream. The vibe I got.”
The 32-year-old former X Factor star sparked speculation among fans previously after sharing a close-up photograph of her hand on Instagram, minus her wedding band.
When one follower asked: “I have many questions, where is your wedding ring? What are we supposed to understand from your photos?”
Cher swiftly replied: “It’s in the bin.” Suggesting the relationship was over.
The singer got engaged to Monk January 2012, less than a year after they met when he fitted extensions into her hair. They met soon when she was just 20, soon after Cher’s success on ITV’s The X Factor which catapulted the Worcestershire teen to fame.
“I wanted to go for a cigarette but I couldn’t go out the front because it was swimming with paparazzi. He was the only one who could take me out the back. So that’s where I met him,” she previously revealed.
She previously called their romance a “fairytale” telling Loose Women in 2019: “You know when you grow up and dream of that fairy tale of course we’ve had our ups and downs, but honest it is like a fairy tale with me and him.”
Cher revealed in April that her father had died at the age of 53. She announced the news alongside a text message chain with her father, with a caption that read: “Life will never be the same again. I’ve never felt pain like this. My Dad, I love you. Goodnight 10.03.73 – 11.04.26.”
The text message from Cher in the photo read: “I love you dad. More than you’ll ever know,” with her father Darren replying: “I know you do. And I love you more and more each day see you tomorrow.”
