Chloe Madeley had a message for ‘c**p droppers’ on social media hours after James Haskell’s mum commented on their divorce

Chloe Madeley shared a savage post directed at “c**p droppers” hours after ex-husband James Haskell’s mum addressed their marriage split.

The former couple split in 2023 after five years of marriage, but their relationship is back in the spotlight after the rugby player made his debut on Celebs Go Dating.

In the most recent episode, his mum Susie had a swipe about her former daughter-in-law, explaining that she had “quite a strong opinion” about where their romance went wrong.

Hours after the instalment, Chloe, 38, shared a cryptic message on her Instagram story, fuming: “Does anyone else feel like there are just some people in life who you have to follow around with a dustpan and brush so you can sweep up all the c**p they keep dropping on the floor? Orrrr is that just me?

“Honestly if you’re reading this and you can’t relate you’re probably a c**p dropper [sic].” The star, daughter of TV icons Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan, didn’t shed light on who her social media post was aimed at.

Chloe’s comments came just after James’ mother had her say on their relationship on Celebs Go Dating, as she joined her son on the E4 show.

While the athlete admitted that he was “dreading” what could possibly “come out of her mouth”, Susie didn’t hold back.

“I’m not sure where he’s gone wrong because prior to his marriage, I met lots of lovely girlfriends,” she declared. “Each of them just loved me, which is a bonus.”

“I do have quite a strong opinion on why I think it went wrong,” she teased. “You can’t have two stars because you have them competing for the floor space the whole time.

“He needs someone who can see the softness of him, coupled with quite a brilliant intellect. He’s written seven books. Three of them are on The Times best-seller list.”

James and Chloe stunned fans when they went their separate ways in 2018, but vowed to stay close for the sake of their daughter, Bodhi.

After the former I’m A Celebrity star turned to the dating show to find love, he confirmed that he got his ex’s permission to take part.
