Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government has lined up 115 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) involving proposed investments of Rs 79,628.04 crore and potential employment for 1,88,038 people at the three upcoming regional conferences ahead of the 31st CII Partnership Summit 2026.

The government has issued orders for five regional conferences across the state in the run-up to the summit. The three conferences will be held at Amaravati on October 16, Ananthapuramu on October 23, and Tirupati on October 26, as part of the state government’s efforts to attract investments across key sectors and generate employment.

The first two conferences, held in Visakhapatnam on October 7 and Kakinada on October 12, were completed successfully. A total of 46 MoUs were signed during the two conferences. Visakhapatnam hosted the opening round on the 7th, where 31 MoUs worth Rs 21,489 crore were signed, promising 56,945 jobs. Kakinada followed on the 12th with 15 agreements worth Rs 4,256 crore and 14,261 jobs.

The agenda is wide, covering everything from capital city development and Quantum Valley to aerospace, defence, semiconductors, space, natural farming, renewable energy and tourism. For a state looking to position itself across both new technology and traditional strengths, the regional summits are a warm-up for the main event in Visakhapatnam.
