Cindy Crawford ‘s son, Presley Gerber, has died at age 27, it has been confirmed, with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner revealing the supermodel’s son passed away while checked into a rehab facility.
Presley, 27, died on Sunday (September 20). His cause of death is yet to be confirmed, and an autopsy is yet to be completed.
When approached for comment by TMZ for comment on Presley’s status, a representative for Cindy, her husband Rande Gerber, and their daughter Kaia Gerber confirmed that he had died earlier on Sunday.
They said: “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”
In January 2019, Presley was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. (DUI) which saw him sentenced to three years’ probation. He was also ordered to complete a DUI program, as well as two days of community service.
Presley was the only son of Cindy and Rande and has long struggled with his mental health as well as substance and drug abuse.
