Harriet Cowan dressed to impress as she attended a festival with her pals. The Clarkson’s Farm star looked almost unrecognisable from her day job attire as she took to TikTok to showcase one of her outfits ahead of Y Not Festival in the Peak District.
The event ran from July 30 to August 2 in Pikehall near Matlock and was attended by around 33,000 people – and Harriet and her pals were among them. In a video, 25-year-old Harriet donned a white figure-hugging body suit, which she accompanied with maroon cowgirl boots and a matching leather jacket.
The look was a far cry from outfits we’re used to seeing her in alongside Jeremy Clarkson and the rest of the team at Diddly Squat Farm on their hit Prime Video series, where she is regularly seen getting stuck in with mucking out the stables, cow sheds, and fields.
“Festival weekend,” she simply penned in a caption as she twirled for her 844,000 followers. “Damn, I watched that more than I should have…,” one fan admitted in response.
A second person gushed: “Wow, you look good in that outfit girl.” A third added: “Farm is treating you well!” While a fourth TikTok user said: “Wow! Simply wow!”
Harriet also took to Instagram to share a series of snaps from the festival, meanwhile. The first saw her having fun with a group of friends as darkness descended upon the main stage.
Harriet could also be seen enjoying a couple of drinks, while she also expressed her delight at spotting a festival-goer wearing one of Clarkson’s Hawkstone Brewery t-shirts. She also posed for further snaps in front of the festival’s helter-skelter and deep in the mix of the thousands of revellers.
“Did someone say festival season?” Harriet wrote.
Following her first appearance on Clarkson’s Farm, Harriet found overnight fame and saw her social media follower count skyrocket. Before the show, she had worked full-time as a nurse in Derbyshire, visiting patients in their homes.
Speaking on the Fed By Farmers podcast, she recently opened up about how her fame felt “insane”. She admitted: “I turned my phone off for three days when it came out. I think I had, like, 8k on Instagram to 500,000 overnight. And TikTok I’d had, like, 40k and that went to 800,000 overnight.
“It was just insane, and I just feel bad for my friends more than anything, because I want to just be that girl in Young Farmers that nobody knows and I’m never that, I’m never going to be that again.”
Headliners for this year’s Y Not Festival were The Libertines, The Streets, Two Door Cinema Club, and Reytons.
The excellent line-up also included Kaiser Chiefs, The Vaccines, Happy Mondays, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Royston Club, Scouting For Girls, Ash, Reverend And The Makers, Keo, and Freddie Halkon.
