Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed the officials not to neglect the complaints being received from the people on various issues and must properly resolve them.

The CM chaired a review meeting with chief secretary Sai Prasad and senior officials from several departments at RTGS in the Secretariat on Monday. He asked them whether the government services were reaching the ground level. By conducting the Public Grievance Redressal System, they must resolve the people’s problems, he said.

Naidu instructed the Chief Secretary to conduct a meeting with the district collectors to ensure that the complaints being received at PGRS are resolved in an efficient and expeditious manner to give relief to the affected people.

He laid stress on ensuring that the employees and officials are made accountable to resolve the complaints received by the nodal officers in all 175 Assembly constituencies.

Referring to the “misinformation” campaign against certain government departments, vis-a-vis some GOs, Naidu wanted such attempts to be curbed. He referred to the revenue department where some of its GOs were being “intentionally misconstrued.”
