Karimnagar:Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will lay the foundations and inaugurate various developmental initiatives in Karimnagar and Sircilla on Wednesday.
He would arrive in Karimnagar town at 3pm by helicopter and inaugurate the Integrated District Offices Complex there after unveiling a Telangana Thalli statue.
Later, the CM would visit the chambers of the collector and other officials. Later, he would lay foundation stones and inaugurate various developmental works.
At 4.45pm, Revant Reddy would arrive at Sircilla town and then reach the public meeting venue by padayatra along with weavers at 6pm. After laying foundation stones for various developmental works, he would address the public. At 7.45pm, he would return to Hyderabad.
Police made tight security arrangements for the CM’s visit. Besides deploying 550 police personnel in Karimnagar town, traffic movement was suspended between Pratima multiplex T junction and the Bhagat Singh statue.
The Sircilla police deployed 1600 cops for the CM’s security.
In Sircilla, Revanth Reddy would lay the foundation for projects worth `345.78 crore including the Indira Mahila Shakthi Bhavan (`5 crore), RDO offices-2, Tahsildar offices-4 and SRO building (`15.25 crore), the Telangana public school at TGMS Konaraopet (`16.13 crore), the Vemulawad temple works expansion (`99.4 crore), Young India Integrated Residential School in Sircilla (`200 crore), the 10,000 capacity godown at Rudrangi (`10 crore) and the New Nethanna Bazar at Sircilla.
