Rameswaram:In view of Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay’s visit to Pasumpon, Ramanathapuram district, to attend the Muthuramalinga Thevar guru puja, security arrangements have been intensified.
The 119th jayanthi and 64th guru puja festival of Muthuramalinga Thevar will be held on October 30 in Pasumpon, near Kamudi, in Ramanathapuram district.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to visit Pasumpon October 30 and pay homage at the Muthuramalinga Thevar memorial.
In view of his visit, work to set up a helipad and security arrangements are in full swing.
Precautionary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of political leaders and the public visiting Pasumpon for the puja.
