Hyderabad: Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) commissioner G. Srijana inaugurated an Ashray centre at Kondapur, established in partnership with the state government and Amazon India, which provide a space for gig and delivery workers.
The centre is part of the initiative being taken up under the guidance of special chief secretary Jayesh Ranjan to create accessible spaces for gig workers at locations where they can conveniently take a break during their working hours. The Kondapur centre is open to gig and delivery workers across all platforms, irrespective of the company or platform they are associated with.
