Chennai: A third year college student was killed when his two-wheeler collided with an electric post when he was trying to avoid hitting a bull crossing the stretch on Old Mahabalipuram Road near Mamallapuram on Tuesday.
The student Rajasekar (21) belongs to Vengambakkam in Thirukazhukundram in Chengalpet district. He was studying B.Com third year in a private college in Padur. He used to go to the college on his bike every day.
When he was returning from college on Tuesday, a bull crossed the road. Rajasekar tried to avoid hitting the bull but the two-wheeler dashed against an electric post. He was thrown on the road and died on the spot.
