In 2025, Kate revealed that she has been dating a longtime acquaintance; however, Collin claimed that the longtime acquaintance was none other than the family’s former bodyguard, Neild. Collin also revealed that the affair started years earlier and also accused Kate of lying about the same.
Collin also revealed that his mother shared hotel rooms with Neild during family vacations. Jon Gosselin has also accused his former wife of being involved with Neild during their marriage. In 2025, Collin proposed a formal lie detector so that they get to know ‘who’s been lying straight to the public.’ Speaking about the same, he said:
“I want to get into everything. I want the truth to be told.”
