Commodore Jasvinder Singh Takes Charge as Director at HSL

Visakhapatnam: Jasvinder Singh, IN (Retd.), has assumed charge as Director (Strategic Projects) at Hindustan Shipyard Limited on May 1, following a distinguished career spanning over three decades in the Indian Navy.

An accomplished officer, he holds a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru University, an ME in Marine Engineering from University of Pune, and an MPhil in Defence and Strategic Studies from University of Mumbai. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.

During his naval service, Singh contributed to marine engineering, fleet maintenance and strategic vessel construction, serving on ships, submarines, DRDO and tri-service establishments.

At HSL, he will oversee key strategic initiatives, including submarine projects aimed at strengthening India’s maritime defence capabilities.
