Dmitrii Kholod joined Oradea, the runner-up in the 2026 Romanian Championships.

Kholod (33) was born in Belarus, but he established himself as a water polo player representing Russia.

At the club level, Kholod played for Sturm Ruzha and Dynamo Moscow in Russia. Between 2019 and 2023, he was a member of the four-time European champion.

In the past three seasons, he has worn the Jadran Herceg Novi cap.

He played for the Russian national team between 2013 and 2021. A few years ago, he was granted Montenegrin citizenship and made his debut for Montenegro at the 2025 World Championships, where his new national team finished in 6th place. He participated in the 2026 European Championships in Belgrade, where Montenegro beat Romania in the 7th-place match.

Kholod said goodbye to Jadran after winning the second consecutive title in the Montenegrin League.

As of today, three departures from Jadran have been confirmed. Djordje Lazic joined Panionios, and Fran Valera returned to Sabadell. But the list of players who are leaving is longer. Vasilije Radovic is set to join Marseille, and the second goalkeeper, Ilija Radovic, will move to Buducnost Podgorica.

Additions to Jadran to be confirmed

Jadran hasn’t officially announced any additions yet, but the club has begun assembling the team for the new season.

It’s certain that two former Novi Beograd players will play for Jadran next season: Dusan Trtovic, who has been preparing with Serbia for the Mediterranean Games, and Aleksa Ukropina, a member of the Montenegrin national team. The latter left Novi Beograd before the end of the season.

It’s expected that Danilo Radovic will return to Jadran from Posillipo and that Slovakia’s center-forward, Lukas Durik, will come from Primorje
