A police constable who was deployed outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra reportedly collapsed on Friday evening. According to the IANS reports, the deceased security guard, identified as 41-year-old Ganesh Raite, belonged to the LA-4 unit of the Mumbai Police.
Ganesh suffered a cardia arrest?
The guard was stationed outside the residence and was performing his duties. He reportedly started complaining about severe uneasiness and experienced chest discomfort around 6 pm. And moments later, he collapsed on the road while on patrol. Raite’s colleagues and fellow officers arranged the transport and rushed him to the nearby Bhabha Hospital. Despite the swift response, doctors declared him ‘brought dead.’ According to the reports, police suspect that Raite might have suffered a cardiac arrest. His body has been sent for a post-mortem to authenticate the exact cause of death. Raite’s sudden demise has left his colleagues and family in distraught. Raite earlier served in the Indian Army, guarding the country’s borders. After completing his Army service, he joined Mumbai police and started serving as a constable.

Raite’s death comes amid heightened security around Salman Khan, who has been under a Y-plus security blanket cover following frequent threats linked to jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his associates. As part of Y-plus security category, Salman he is accompanied by armed police personnel and personal security, including frequent patrolling outside the building.

Last year, Salman Khan admitted that moving out being surrounded by security personnel on some days is challenging for him. While sharing with the press that he is not afraid of the threats, the superstar said, “Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai (It’s all up to God, Allah.
