Hyderabad: Panjagutta police received a complaint over a building dispute between a couple running a hostel and Hyderabad former mayor Bonthu Rammohan and his wife Sridevi. The hostel operator reportedly filed a complaint in connection with a civil lease and tenancy conflict over their hostel building, police said.
The hostel management claimed that they had invested Rs.2 crore to rent the building. The couple speaking to a local channel here said despite their agreement, Rammohan was using coercive tactics to force them to vacate the premises prematurely and was sending anti-social elements to threaten and abuse them.
The couple asked the Chief Minister to take a stern action against the alleged goondaism of Rammohan and his associates as they had pledged their property and paid him Rs.2 crore.
In their complaint, the couple alleged that they faced a life threat from Rammohan requested the Chief Minister and the police to do justice. “We have received a complaint. We will be taking action after obtaining legal opinion,” a police officer said.
