CPI Telangana Calls Out for Protest Amid Rise in Fuel Prices

Karimnagar: As fuel prices continue to spiral upward, the members of the Communist Party of India (CPI) staged a protest against the soaring fuel prices at the district collectorate in Karimnagar on Wednesday.

Speaking at the protest, Former CPI MLA Chada Venkat Reddy said that the BJP-led central government is causing trouble to the middle class by raising fuel prices three times in a month. He demanded that the central government act immediately to reduce the petrol, diesel, and cooking gas prices.

He also called for protests from August 9 to 14 across Telangana. CPI General Secretary Srinivas Goud, CPI leader Sadashiva, and others joined the event.
