Hyderabad: Cyberabad has received around 12 cm of rainfall during the night of June 22 and 23 June, with intense spells across several parts of the city.
Coordinated efforts by the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC), Hydraa, Police, Traffic Police, and other line departments, coupled with continuous desilting, engineering interventions, and round-the-clock field monitoring, helped several traditionally vulnerable locations witness smooth drainage with no major water stagnation, ensuring better traffic movement and reduced inconvenience to commuters.
The field teams remained on alert throughout the night, responding promptly wherever required and continuously monitoring vulnerable locations.
The CMC, along with all stakeholder departments, remains committed to strengthening monsoon preparedness through proactive planning, coordinated action, and continuous field monitoring to ensure safer roads and improved public convenience.
