Eluru: The district administration has declared a holiday for schools, colleges and Anganwadi centres in Eluru district in view of Cyclone Murasu and the possibility of heavy rainfall.
District Education Officer (DEO) has announced the holiday as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students and children amid adverse weather conditions.
The decision was taken in view of the expected impact of the cyclone on the district. Educational institutions and Anganwadi centres have been advised to follow the instructions issued by the district administration.
