And the posted single was a fake song with a voice sounding like the jailed artist professing his love for the victim, Celeste Rivas. The reason why fans were left confused about the single was that the voice mimicked D4VS’ own voice.
I Did It also featured lines about hearing Celeste Rivas whenever he breathes, and missing her and fearing she will only love him after he dies. The timing of the release was jarring as David Burke (D4VD) remains behind bars without bail as his preliminary hearing unfolds in Los Angeles, detailing the gruesome evidence prosecutors have against the singer.
As the news outlet previously reported, prosecutors spent the past week laying out evidence they claim connects D4VD to Celeste Rivas’ killing.
