Dan Orlovsky never shies away from sharing his thoughts on NFL quarterbacks and the latest round of games has provided him with a lot to look into.
The Chicago Bears pulled off perhaps the result of the weekend by comfortably beating the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks, in their own backyard. At the heart of the victory was another solid performance from quarterback Caleb Williams.

Ben Johnson’s team did not just walk away from Lumen Field with a narrow victory. The Chicago Bears completely dominated Seattle and their ‘Dark Side’ defense, which is something the Bears have been keen to point out over social media since Monday night.
There was something to emerge from the game up in the Pacific Northwest that has completely changed the way Orlovsky now views Williams and the Bears heading into the remainder of the season.
What Dan Orlovsky has seen change about Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears
“They’re an incredibly scary football team right now, and you see the locker room. I think it’s the best two games of Caleb’s career back-to-back: New England, Seattle’s defence. I think it was a very clear message sent to the NFL: not only are we contenders, we’re in many ways favourites,” Orlovsky said on ESPN.
“What I have seen in the last 2 weeks from Caleb and the Bears has completely changed. Here’s my thoughts on him and them,” he later added on X.

Although Williams only threw for one touchdown on Monday night against the Seahawks, the quarterback showed his true leadership qualities both on the field and on the sideline. By not throwing interceptions, in the same way that Sam Darnold has for the Seahawks, Williams is providing his team with the very best opportunity to progress this season.
The only interception Williams has thrown was in that game against the Vikings, which saw the quarterback go off injured. A return of six touchdowns and just one interception from Williams this season shows just how efficient Johnson’s offense truly is.
To handle the Seahawks’ elite defense in the way they did shows just how good this Bears team can be.
