Hyderabad: Former MLA Danam Nagender on Monday said the BRS was focusing on a single issue and attempting to hold the government accountable for every natural calamity.
“Let us assume, for the sake of argument, that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is a national leader in India. But what about the calamities occurring in the UK, African nations, Paris, Europe and elsewhere across the globe?” he asked, referring to El Niño,” he said.
“Who is responsible for those? This is not just a national calamity; it is a global one,” he said. The same situation is prevailing in Punjab, Delhi and other northern States. “Is Revanth Reddy responsible for it?” he questioned.
Instead of educating people about the impact of El Niño, BRS leaders were misleading them, Nagender said, adding that the people of Telangana would not believe their claims.
