A self-proclaimed GOAT is about to enter the Garden.
As part of the 2026 New York Comedy Festival, Dave Chappelle is headlining two nights at MSG.
The 53-year-old’s pair of huge Big Apple gigs are slated to take place:
Friday, Nov. 6
7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 7
7:30 p.m.
And, based on our findings, ticket prices are dropping to see the “Chappelle’s Show” star live at the Knicks home this week.
When our team last reported on how much the cheapest seats cost to see Chappelle at the Garden back on Sept. 18, prices started at $156 including fees on StubHub.
Now, a little more than a month later, tickets are going for as low as $142 including fees on Vivid Seats.
This set of large-scale sets conclude Chappelle’s phone-free fall 2026 Karamageddon Tour that sent him to a number of arenas (and a comedy festival) all over North America this past month.
“Dave Chappelle’s 2026 Karmageddon Tour was a 10/10,” one fan wrote on TikTok after catching a show in Louisville on Oct. 24.
“I laughed my a– off from beginning to end! The man is truly one of the GOATs of comedy! Definitely a night to remember.”
While we can’t guarantee what the funnyman will take to the stage this time around, he has joked about his controversial Riyadh Comedy Festival appearance, Caitlyn Jenner and Will Smith and Chris Rock among other hot-button topics at past gigs this year, according to records.
Ahead of the two-night stint in the City That Never Sleeps, the 2019 Mark Twain Prize Award winner is scheduled to sling punchlines at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
After these three gigs, there are no more Chappelle shows booked for the foreseeable future.

Why is Dave Chappelle controversial?
Since his 2016 return to stand-up following an extended hiatus, Chappelle has made waves for his insensitive material about the transgender community, most notably in his Netflix specials “Sticks and Stones” and “The Closer.”
Rather than apologize for his remarks, he doubled down and defended his bigoted point of view.
As a result, many big names have spoken out about his baseless attacks.
“Dave Chappelle making jokes about trans people directly leads to violence, whether it’s verbal or otherwise, against trans people,” said US soccer star Megan Rapinoe in an interview with Time Magazine.
Fellow comic Wanda Sykes shared with Variety that Chappelle’s material was “so hurtful and damaging to the trans community.”
That didn’t stop Chappelle from going after other marginalized groups.
In November 2022, Chappelle was asked to host NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.” On the program, he made several anti-Semitic jokes in his 20-minute monologue.
At the time of publication, Chappelle has not issued a sincere apology to either community. His inflammatory material also caused Netflix employees to walk out in protest.
“We value our trans colleagues and allies, and understand the deep hurt that’s been caused,” a Netflix spokesperson said at the time. “We respect the decision of any employee who chooses to walk out, and recognize we have much more work to do both within Netflix and in our content.”
Most recently, Chappelle made waves for performing at the 2025 Riyadh Comedy Festival. His inclusion in the Saudi Arabia Fest upset some because he accepted money political leaders in the country who had committed human rights abuses and used the festival to “divert attention from ongoing repression.”
The Human Rights Watch organization said that comics who took part were “complicit in covering up the abuses of a repressive regime,” according to CBS News.
