Airline loyalty program promotions (May 2026)
Airline loyalty programs can offer trip discounts on specific dates, the opportunity to earn more points or miles for future travel and exclusive deals to accumulate points or miles toward elite status. Below are some of the best offers we found for May.
Earn AAdvantage miles on IHG stays
Now through July 6, IHG One Rewards members can earn three times as many American Airlines AAdvantage miles on hotel stays at IHG hotels booked through IHG channels. To earn, members must tap “Click to Register” on the promotion’s dedicated landing page and enter their AAdvantage number.
Earn bonus points on select Air Canada flights
Air Canada has added new destinations where members can earn up to 2.5 times as many bonus points when booking travel from Canada by May 10 for trips through Dec. 15. Those destinations include Manchester, England; Porto, Portugal; Seoul, South Korea; Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina; and Martinique.
No registration is required to earn the bonus multipliers.
Earn double Virgin Australia Velocity points on select United Airlines flights
Virgin Australia’s Velocity frequent flyer program might not be top of mind for everyone, but if it’s one you use, we’ve got a deal for you: Members can earn double Velocity points on flights between the U.S. and Australia.
To earn the points, simply activate the offer online, then book an eligible United Airlines-operated flight with a “UA” or “VA” flight number between April 29 and May 12 and plug in your Velocity membership number. Travel for this offer must take place between June 1 and Oct. 31 and be on direct United flights between Australia and Los Angeles, San Francisco or Houston.

Hotel loyalty program promotions (May 2026)
Hotel loyalty programs occasionally offer discounted stays and new ways to earn extra points. Here are some May deals to consider when booking your next stay.
Targeted: Earn up to 15,000 bonus points with Hilton Honors
It’s time to log into your Hilton Honors account to see if you’ve been targeted with the company’s “Stay More, Earn More” offer. Folks who have the offer can register at hilton.com or on the Hilton Honors app to earn up to 15,000 bonus points on their next five stays. For the first stay, members will earn 1,000 bonus points, followed by 2,000 points on the second stay, 3,000 points on the third stay, 4,000 points on the fourth stay and 5,000 points on the fifth stay, for a total of 15,000 points.
To earn through this targeted Hilton Honors offer, you must register for the promotion by Dec. 31 and complete the required stays within six months of registration.
Earn 1,000 bonus points with Best Western
Planning a trip within the U.S., Canada or the Caribbean? Best Western Rewards members can now earn 1,000 bonus points per eligible night (with no cap) for stays between May 11 and Sept. 7. No registration is required; you simply need to have a Best Western Rewards account.
To make it even sweeter, members who stay 20 eligible nights after registering will be entered into a sweepstakes for the chance to win 250,000 bonus points.
Earn 5,000 bonus points with IHG One Rewards
IHG One Rewards members who book between now and May 6 can earn 5,000 bonus points for every two nights stayed at IHG hotels in Algeria, Angola, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Egypt, Ghana, India, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mauritius, Morocco, Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
To qualify for the bonus points, simply register online and stay two nights by June 21.

Credit card promotions (May 2026)
Card issuers offer deals and discounts on a wide range of products, from airfare to dining. Here are some of the offers we’ve rounded up this week. Note that you must activate these offers on your card and use the enrolled card to make the purchase in order to earn bonus rewards. Not all offers may be available on your account.
Targeted Amex Offer on Airbnb
Need to book an Airbnb soon? Right now, targeted American Express® Gold Card and American Express Platinum Card® holders can earn an additional 3,000 American Express Membership Rewards points by using an enrolled card to spend $250 or more with Airbnb. Just make sure you check American Express to see if you have the offer. If you do, enroll in it by hitting the “add to card” button and make your Airbnb booking by May 5.
Targeted Amex offer on Omni Hotels & Resorts
Targeted Amex cardholders can enroll in an offer to get $100 back after spending $500 or more with Omni Hotels & Resorts. To get the $100 statement credit, enroll by July 13 and make the charge with Omni by Aug. 14.

Ongoing travel deals
In addition to these new offers, many others from previous weeks are still available:
- Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards members who live within 75 miles of Snapdragon Stadium can get 100 bonus points for every goal scored at home by the local professional soccer teams. Register for the San Diego FC (men’s team) promotion and the San Diego Wave FC (women’s team) promotion separately.
- Earn 7,500 Wyndham Rewards bonus points for every two qualifying nights stayed, up to 30,000 bonus points. Plus, Wyndham Rewards credit and debit card holders and Insider subscribers can earn an additional 7,500 bonus points after just two qualifying nights. Register first, then book through Wyndham channels by May 9 and complete your stay(s) by June 30.
- Earn a $50 Best Western gift card (up to three gift cards maximum) when you stay three nights at any Best Western-branded hotel in the U.S., Canada or the Caribbean by May 10. Be sure to register before you book.
- Marriott Bonvoy elite members can earn an impressive 40,000 bonus points on a stay at Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy properties as long as they stay at least two nights and spend a minimum of $2,000 before taxes and fees. Register and book by April 26, 2026, and stay by Jan. 3, 2027.
- With the Sonesta Annual Sale, you can earn double Sonesta Travel Pass points and save up to 25% at participating hotels if booked by May 19 with code “SUPERSAVINGS” for stays through Sept. 30.
- Double your base point earnings at Homes & Hideaways, World of Hyatt’s vacation rental brand, for qualifying stays completed by May 31. No registration is required for this promotion.
- With this offer, you can earn five times the usual number of Lufthansa Miles & More miles on stays at over 8,000 Wyndham Rewards properties. Sign in to your Wyndham Rewards account and change your earning preference to Miles & More miles, then book by May 31 and stay by Aug. 31.
- With National Car Rental Emerald Club‘s “One Two Free” promotion, you can earn one promotional free day for every two eligible rentals between April 6 and June 7. To qualify, a rental must be at least two consecutive days in the midsize or larger vehicle class. Preregister online.
- Earn Southwest Rapid Rewards bonus points when you rent a car at a participating Budget airport location in the U.S. and Canada. Earn 600 points for rentals of one to three days or 2,400 points for rentals of four days or longer. Book with coupon number “MUAY174,” and complete your qualifying rental by June 30.
- Earn 2,000 World of Hyatt bonus points per night stayed — up to 60,000 bonus points total — at Under Canvas locations and select other properties. Register for this offer by June 30, and complete your stay(s) by July 1.
- Get 20% of your World of Hyatt points back on award stays at participating Las Vegas hotels and resorts when you register, book and stay by July 31.
- Earn double Accor Live Limitless base points on an eligible stay of two-plus nights at a participating hotel in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Panama or Brazil. Activate this offer first, then book by Aug. 8 and complete your stay by Sept. 8.
- From June 1 to Aug. 31, you can earn 50% more Miles & More miles and elite status qualifying points when you fly premium economy on Lufthansa or its partners. To take advantage of this promotion, simply book through the participating airline’s website with your Miles & More number.

- Earn 5,000 additional Membership Rewards points or a $30 statement credit when you spend a minimum of $250 on Airbnb purchases by May 5.
- Earn a $500 statement credit when you spend at least $2,000 on safari reservations by calling 800-642-2861 by May 15.
- Get $225 back as a statement credit after you spend at least $1,500 on flight purchases made on Icelandair’s website. Flights must originate in the U.S. and be purchased by May 24.
