Delhi-NCR Reimposes GRAP Stage-I Measures As AQI Enters ‘Poor’ Category

The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has ordered the immediate implementation of GRAP Stage-I measures across Delhi-NCR after the city’s AQI touched 208, falling in the ‘Poor’ category.

In an order issued on May 19, the CAQM said forecasts by IMD and IITM indicate air quality is likely to remain poor in the coming days. Authorities across NCR have been directed to intensify anti-pollution measures under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP).
