Farhan mocked Ranveer?

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter India, Farhan recalled how actor Saif Ali Khan ran into date issues and almost quit the project 10 days before the shoot was scheduled to begin. With pre-production completed and sets being built, Farhan said the possibility of losing Saif left him extremely stressed.

“My head was destroyed because when I met him (Saif), when we got into it, there was nobody else who could have played that part. It was just impossible,” said Farhan, recalling the possibility of Saif’s exit. Fans on social media and Reddit were quick to speculate that the comment may be a direct dig at Ranveer’s exit from Don 3.

While recalling the incident, Farhan made a remark that immediately grabbed headlines. He said Saif was about to quit almost 10 days before the shoot was scheduled to begin. He jokingly added, “Seems to be a pattern nowadays.” When everyone smiled at his comment, Farhan added, “Right, aisa bhi hota hai.”
