Kannada actor and producer, Dileep Raj passed away at the age of 47 due to a massive heart attack. There has been a lot of attention on men in their 40s and 50s dying due to sudden cardiac arrest without early warning. Now, amid Dileep Raj’s untimely demise, his wife, Srividya, mustered the courage to write about him 24 hours post his demise.

Dileep Raj’s wife, Srividya, is coping with the loss of her husband. She mustered the courage to write an emotional tribute for him on her social media feed. She took to her Instagram handle on May 13, 2026, to thank her fans for their support. She started her post by saying she was grateful to all who supported her. Srividya, in her painful post, even shared that she can never forget Dileep and his contribution towards cinema, but it was time for her to let him go and begin a new life. Srividya did write that her soul will never be at peace until she again sees her husband. Those who have seen loss in love will understand her post as it read:

“I am grateful to one and all for being so supportive. Dileep will always be among us in the form of art, cinema and in the form any act of kindness that we experience hereon. I have decided to let him go in peace and find a new life. But one thing is for sure – my soul will not rest in peace untill I see him again.”

An empathetic fan of Dileep and Srividya penned, “We are all here for you, ma’am. Sir will always be watching over you and the kids! I pray to god to give you the strength and resilience to handle this. The way you were speaking to him during the funeral, just like a kid, and crying, shows how much you bonded with him.” A user told Srividya to stay strong, live in his dreams, as Dilip shall always be alive through his favourite art, acting. A user said:

“You are very strong, and he will always be with you in ur love for him. Take care of yourself. He is always with us in the form of work, sir has done ma’am. Pls you take care of your children and health, ma’am. Your line says all… You are dead inside, but you have to take rebirth because of your children.”

A part of the heartbreaking note by the fan also said, “No words will give you peace, I know. But accept the truth, move on, and live a life that he dreamt of. He also doesn’t know what happened to him. This is not justice by god. I think God is not there, as he proves again and again. So sorry for you… If you cry, all the ladies will cry. We understand your pain. Take a deep breath.”

The actor could not be revived after he suffered a heart attack on May 13, 2026.  His demise shocked the Kannada movie fraternity. Dileep’s last rites took place at their family’s farmhouse in Ramanagara. A report by the Indian Express revealed that it was on the night of May 12, 2026, that Dileep started feeling uneasy and had contacted a doctor who had given him an appointment for the next day. However, destiny had other plans.
