The Only Way Is Essex star, Jake Hall, has tragically died aged 35 after suffering a ‘tragic accident’ in Majorca
A whole host of stars are paying tribute to Jake Hall after his tragic death. The dad-of-one was found dead at a Spanish holiday villa in Majorca after suffering from head injuries after it was claimed he’d been partying and decided to head back to the property he was renting.
Jake, 35, who said to be found in a pool of blood with head wounds, caused by shards of glass after the ‘freak accident’, was a fan favourite on TOWIE and now stars from the showbiz world have shared their heartbreak after the tragic news.
Taking to Instagram, Blue star, Anthony Costa, wrote: “So sad. What a lovely bloke you were mate R.I.P”
Meanwhile, DJ Fat Tony, who shared an image of the star alongside the caption: “Devastating news we Love you such an awful loss to the world you beautiful man x.”
Also paying tribute was Jake’s former partner, Misé Beqiri, with whom he shares daughter, River. In a statement to Tyla, Mise’s representatives shared: “At this time, Mise’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss. The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately.”
Four men and two women who were also staying at the Majorcan villa with Jake are believed to have been questioned by police. The six people are believed to have told police that they returned to the property in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the address in Santa Margalida, in the north of Majorca at 7:30am local time. An autopsy is due to take place in the coming hours in the Majorcan capital, Palma, while the ongoing investigation is being carried out by the Civil Guard.
A police source said: “We are focusing on the theory the victim died in a tragic accident after hitting his head against the glass door but it is still too early to say definitely what happened.”
Just hours before his death, Jake took to Instagram to share an insight into his trip, with a collection of images and videos taken on his holiday. Captioning his post, he penned: “Life is b*****ks sometimes but I’m gonna try remember the good things – looking through things – I’m just making art – in many forms.”
The late model and footballer shot to fame on The Only Way Is Essex in 2015, joining as a friend of Vas J Morgan and the ex-partner of Chloe Lewis.
He appeared on the show between seasons 14 and 17, when he made the decision to bow out. In recent years, Jake’s career has seen him focus on his fashion empire, By Jake Hall, as well as his previous brand, Prévu Studio.
Days before his death, Jake shared snaps of himself with his daughter River, who he shares with Real Housewives of Cheshire star, Misé Beqiri, on holiday, captioning his upload: “My world – my world! My world,” alongside a heart emoji.
