Does Nancy Guthrie Know Her Kidnapper? Ex-Police Officer Reveals Shocking Claims, ‘Still Feels Off’

It’s been more than 100 days that Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy has been missing and there seems to be no clue about her whereabouts. However, ever since Savannah’s 84-year-old mother has been kidnapped, multiple former FBI agents and officials have shared their theories about the same. Amid that, recently, a retired police officer suspected that Nancy Guthrie might be knowing her kidnapper very well.

Does Nancy Guthrie know her kidnapper?

Recently, a retired police officer, Charles Brewer, shared a video titled Nancy Guthrie Case: We May Have Been Looking At The Wrong Person on YouTube. In the same, he highlighted the fact that Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapper has not demanded any ransom from her family, including the Today show co-anchor, Savannah Guthrie. He explained:

“If this truly was a celebrity-targeted kidnapping connected directly to Savannah Guthrie, why has there been no meaningful ransom communication? Why leave over a million dollars untouched? Why create ransom-style messages that reportedly make little sense? Why no sustained negotiations or proof of life, no sophisticated extortion strategy?”

Further, the retired police officer stated that there are very high chances that Nancy Guthrie might know her kidnapper. He mentioned that the kidnapper might not be a family member but can be a friend as well. He was quoted as saying:

“Not necessarily family directly, but maybe somebody connected to them like a friend, an associate, maybe a business relationship, or what about a debt? A dangerous person orbiting somewhere close to this family that nobody fully recognized at the time, because after more than 100 days, something still feels off. Something still feels untouched.”

Nancy Guthrie’s family were once questioned about her kidnapping

Soon after Nancy Guthrie was kidnapped, an official investigation began. For the unversed, in the beginning, the authorities questioned Nancy’s family including Annie and Tommaso. The footage were checked and multiple rumours made rounds on social media, which suggested that they might be involved in Nancy’s kidnapping.

However, later, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos came in support of the family members and shut down all the rumours. As per a report by Today, he stated that Nancy’s family has only been cooperative. He also explained that the family is a victim. In his words:

“The family has been nothing but cooperative and gracious and are victims in this case. To suggest otherwise is not only wrong, it is also cruel. The Guthrie family is a victim, plain and simple.”

Savannah Guthrie hires private investigator 3 months after Nancy’s kidnapping

Savannah Guthrie is going through one of the toughest phases of her life, ever since her mother, Nancy Guthrie went missing. Amid that, Savannah Guthrie has reportedly hired a private investigator to find the whereabouts of Nancy. If reports are to be believed, Savannah is frustrated with the slow investigation and wants her mother, Nancy back as soon as possible. A source close to Savannah shared, “Savannah is paying whatever it takes to keep this search active. She refuses to rely solely on law enforcement.”

Talking more about Savannah Guthrie, nearly a month ago, she sat down for her first interview after her mother’s kidnapping. During the same, she got emotional and revealed that she feels her success and fame might be the reason behind Nancy’s missing case. Apart from this, she also stated the reaction of her children.
