Dorit Kemsley is best known for her stint on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. At present, however, she has found herself in the limelight for all things personal. Dorit married British businessman Paul “PK” Kemsley back in 2015. The duo shares two children.
Dorit and PK announced their separation in May 2024. While they are engaged in a bitter divorce battle, PK accused the reality star of icing him out of their kids’ lives.
Dorit Kemsley’s estranged husband, PK, claims she is icing him out of their kids’ lives
According to TMZ, Dorit Kemsley’s estranged husband, PK Kemsley, has filed a declaration in their divorce battle, just hours before the two reached a partial settlement over their finances. In the declaration, PK slammed the reality star and accused Dorit of not informing him about their kids’ schooling.
PK claimed that Dorit did not involve him while selecting their son’s school, adding that her “complete and intentional lack of communication and collaboration” on important decisions was “shocking and disheartening.” He accused Dorit of continuing to make decisions without involving him and only getting to hear about his son’s school events directly from him. In his words:
“She continues to make decisions without involving me at all. … I have no communication from [Dorit] about [our son’s] school events unless [our son] himself tells me. I receive no information from her about school. I learned through the children, rather from [Dorit], was going to his current school.”
PK also seems to be unhappy with Dorit Kemsley’s parenting style, saying that her parenting style can “best be described as parenting from afar.” He revealed that she is not a present parent. In fact, it has been years since “she began delegating her day-to-day parental responsibilities to the nanny and housekeeper.”
He claimed that the RHOBH star had the nannies pick up their two children from school. They were also the ones tasked with making the kids’ meals and other important stuff. However, Dorit has denied PK’s claims. It was previously revealed that the businessman plans to call their kids’ longtime nanny as a witness in their divorce battle to talk about Dorit and the children’s interactions.
Dorit Kemsley and PK are still working on a custody deal
Dorit and PK have been going back and forth over custody for a while now. Though PK’s recent declaration was filed after they reached a confidential settlement over their finances, they are still working on a custody deal.
A few days ago, TMZ obtained court documents filed by PK in response to Dorit’s request for over USD 40K in combined monthly child and spousal support payments. In it, PK claimed that his estranged wife earns more than he does. He proposed paying USD 581 per month in child support, but revealed that he believes neither of them should have to pay spousal support.
In the filing, he slammed Dorit for making it really hard for him to see their two kids, claiming that she refused time on Father’s Day in 2025 and had their children with her parents instead. Dorit also allegedly denied him time with the kids on Father’s Day 2026 but “then proceeded to post to her 1.7 million followers on Instagram a story about deadbeat dads that made the press.”
PK further said that Dorit leaves their kids with the nanny and her parents and does not give him a chance to watch them. He cited the example of a Europe trip that Dorit went on for eight weeks and stayed at fancy hotels while leaving the kids with her parents.
