Dr Sundarachari Given Additional Charge of GGH Superintendent

VIJAYAWADA: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has entrusted the full additional charge of Superintendent of Government General Hospital (GGH), Guntur, to Dr N.V. Sundarachari, who is currently serving as principal of Guntur Medical College.

The arrangement has been made in view of the retirement of the present GGH superintendent, Dr S.S.V. Ramana, later this month. The DME issued orders assigning the additional responsibility to ensure continuity in the administration of the hospital.

Dr Sundarachari has been associated with several development initiatives at Guntur Medical College in recent years. During his tenure as principal, the institution undertook infrastructure improvements, introduced technological facilities and implemented measures aimed at strengthening academic and healthcare services.

Medical professionals, faculty members and hospital staff welcomed the appointment and expressed confidence that his administrative experience would help further improve services at GGH.
