Four days in, and Drishyam: The Conclusion is already rewriting the franchise’s box office history. The Ajay Devgn starrer collected a net Rs 21 crore in India on Day 4 alone, running across a massive 16,274 shows, pushing its total India net collection to Rs 197.50 crore and its India gross to Rs 237 crore.
The overseas numbers have been doing their part too. The film added Rs 5 crore internationally on Day 4, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 66 crore. Put the domestic and international numbers together, and Drishyam: The Conclusion has now crossed a worldwide gross of Rs 303 crore in just four days, as per figures.
That number carries some serious weight. The Hindi film, directed by Abhishek Pathak, has already surpassed the entire lifetime worldwide theatrical collection of the original Malayalam version, Drishyam 3: The Past Never Stays Silent, starring Mohanlal, which closed its run at Rs 237.70 crore. Four days versus a full theatrical run, and the Hindi remake has already pulled ahead.

The franchise itself has had quite the trajectory. The very first Drishyam, released in 2015, earned around Rs 107.87 crore. Drishyam 2 followed in 2022, crossing the Rs 100 crore mark within six days and eventually closing at Rs 345 crore worldwide, making it the 24th highest-grossing Hindi film of all time at that point.
The Monday hold is what’s really turning heads in trade circles. Films usually see a sharp dip once the opening weekend euphoria fades, but Drishyam: The Conclusion held remarkably steady on its first Monday, a sign that word of mouth is doing as much heavy lifting as the franchise’s built-in fan base.
Now, with this third instalment already racing past the Rs 300 crore mark in under a week, Drishyam: The Conclusion looks set to comfortably surpass its predecessor before its run is anywhere close to finished.
