Hyderabad: Describing the NEET-UG 2026 re-test as more competitive than the previous test held on May 3, TG Eapcet agriculture and pharmacy stream toppers said tough physics and chemistry sections will determine rankings.

Mayuk Jayasimha, who secured rank four in A&P stream, said the NEET-UG question was competitive, especially the physics and chemistry sections. He said his main goal is to secure an MBBS seat. “Given its difficulty level, I will be able to ascertain my score only after the preliminary answer key is released.”

Eapcet fifth ranker Amair Anas said his goal is securing a MBBS seat. “Overall, I performed well. Compared the NEET exam in May, physics questions were lengthy and physical chemistry was tough in today’s exam,” he said.

Sixth ranker Nathan Sheba Jerusha said she took the TG Eapcet to know her performance. “Most NEET questions were from the topics I studied well. I found chemistry to be moderate on difficulty levels and the physics section was lengthy. This time, the pattern of questions asked was different,” she added.
