Hyderabad: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed a petition on YSRC president and former CM Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy’s illegal assets, in the Telangana High Court. In the petition, the ED urged the High Court to hear the case on daily basis and resolve the matter at the earliest possible.

The ED also sought the court to order Jagan and other accused in the case attend the court personally, as nine of its chargesheets had been pending in the CBI court for the last 10 years. The case has not been proceeding as the discharge petitions are not getting resolved in the CBI court, the ED said.

The Enforcement Directorate also urged the court to consider financial crimes as a threat to the nation’s economic health and resolve Jagan’s case at a faster pace.

The court ordered that the ED petition should be combined with that Harirama Jogaiah and others. All the petitions would come up for hearing on October 13, the court said.
