In the previous year, English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran confirmed that he had sung a Hindi song for Shah Rukh Khan’s film, but didn’t reveal the name of the film at that time. However, fans speculate that King might be the film the singer was talking about. Moreover, music composer Anirudh Ravichander has also engaged in the speculations of Ed Sheeran being a part of King soundtrack, and has commented that it might happen.
During a recent conversation with Bombay Times, the music composer, Anirudh, was asked whether Ed Sheeran was a part of King’s soundtrack. To which he replied, “That was just an idea. It hasn’t been executed yet, but it may happen… either that or something big is on the cards”.
Moreover, talking about the film King, Anirudh has also praised the level of effort both Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand have put into the making of the film. “Sir makes sure that you don’t feel the pressure. We just want to celebrate him. We want to make sure that he gets the best. Sid (Siddharth Anand, director) and he have worked a lot on the film. So hopefully, whenever it’s out this year, it’s another memorable time for us,” he said.
