Apart from Elsie Hewitt’s Instagram Story on May 16, 2026, her TikTok video also created headlines, as she clarified to everyone that she is now a mother and is raising her child by herself. She mentioned that apart from all of these, she is also working at the same time and earning by herself, adding that it is a tough job to do. On the other hand, an insider for PEOPLE opened up on how Elsie Hewitt and Pete Davidson are working to get the best child care for their daughter. The source addressed the same and said:

“Both of them are prioritising finding proper child care. They’re going through a proper professional vetting process to find the next nanny.”

On the other hand, another source told PEOPLE that Pete is currently ready to offer financial help, and he is already taking care of the expenses of his child. Moreover, Pete is also expecting a lot of success for his former partner and hoping that her health remains fine while she takes care of their daughter. For the unversed, Elsie’s Instagram Story featured her saying that she is seeking replies with resumes. She further stated that she needed someone qualified and serious about the job.

The duo is additionally trying to move on from their breakup. An insider still claimed that the pair is unable to get along and has been having issues ever since Elsie was expecting a child. The insider continued by saying:

“She’s not fighting Pete on seeing the baby, but it’s not smooth sailing. Ultimately they’d like to be friends and do things together, but it’s difficult to think about getting to that place right now. He’s a softie and he does want to be with the woman he has a child with. It’s not totally out of the question. The split was mutual.”
