Emily Atack took to Instagram to share a new snap of herself in a chic, black boho dress as the 36-year-old enjoys her new life in an idyllic village just 15 minutes away from her childhood home.
Emily Atack took to Instagram to show off a quirky boho look on Thursday as she posted an insight into her wholesome summer with her family.
The 36-year-old actress pouted for the snap as she paired her casual black dress with a chunky brown belt and red coral necklace to complete the stylish ensemble. Her hair was piled on top of her head in a relaxed bun that added to the chilled style of her look, and was complemented by her freckly tanned skin.
In another snap, Emily posted a sweet photo of her shirtless fiancé Alistair Garner putting some flowers in a plant pot. The pair got engaged in July 2025 after welcoming their first child together, Barney, more than two years ago in June 2024.
The boho country-style suits the Rivals star’s new home as she recently moved to a village just 15 minutes away from her mum earlier this year as she and Alistair said goodbye to their lives in London.
Speaking to The Sun about the move, a source close to Emily said: “She moved out of her family home 20 years ago but is now back living just 15 minutes from her mum in a neighbouring village.
“It’s all because of the man she fell in love with – and how he has given her the confidence to trust herself. She’s had the biggest success of her career to date since starring in Rivals and is now living the life she truly wants.”
Earlier this year, Emily opened up on a health battle with sepsis that led to her losing a lot of weight after giving birth to Barney.
While fans have accused her of using weight loss jabs to achieve her slimmer frame, Emily maintains the change in her appearance is due to her illness.
Speaking to Grazia, the former Inbetweeners actress said: “I was trolled for being enormous when I was pregnant and now I’m trolled for having lost weight.
“My body holds all my trauma as well as my happiness and joy. I went through a very difficult pregnancy.
“I was very ill after the birth. I had sepsis, I could not leave the house for weeks afterwards. It was awful. I’m just asking people for a little bit of patience and understanding at such a complex thing. Women’s bodies change all the time. I am so done with defending it.”
To make matters even more difficult, Emily returned to work just 11 weeks after giving birth to Barney for hit TV show Rivals.
Although she asserts she loved the experience, unsurprisingly it proved very difficult on her postpartum body as she was still recovering.
“It was a lovely job, but that was really tough. My body was still in pieces. I could barely walk, but I had to get back to work,” she told Hello Magazine at the time.
