Jordan Pickford’s wife was ready for the weather to switch during England’s fixture with Ghana as the Three Lions looked to secure a spot in the next round of the World Cup
England will be hoping for a whitewash of Ghana at the World Cup – but some of the team’s WAGs have come prepared for a different kind. Jordan Pickford’s wife, Megan Davison, turned up at the Boston Stadium in an all-white outfit.
But she was prepared to face the type of elements that brought France v Iraq to a temporary standstill yesterday. While stunning in the mini-dress, Megan wasn’t ready to be caught out by disruptive weather.
She was snapped wearing a waterproof poncho as she prepared for changing seasons. But she was still in good spirits as she smiled from the stands before her husband took to the pitch.
And while Megan’s smile was reserved for seeing her husband in action, she had good news earlier in the day too after she was reunited with her missing luggage. The 30-year-old previously revealed that she was forced to slip into her seven-year-old’s kit ahead of the first game last week, after her case went missing on her journey to America.
But that didn’t have to be the case for fixture number two. Before England took on Ghana, she shared an epic video on TikTok. In it, she confirmed that her clothes had arrived safe and sound.
The video, set to Honey, Honey by ABBA, showed Megan opening the door to her luggage. She then danced around before climbing into bed with it.
She captioned the upload: “A special delivery arrived. It will not be leaving my sight before tomorrows game.”
And as fans revealed their delight in the comments section, Megan told one user: “I’m guarding it with my life.” She then told another: “It’s been rough out here xx.”
Megan was part of the England WAGs that headed to the States to cheer the England national team on in person. Others making the journey included Tolami Benson, Kate Kane and Ashlyn Castro.
Megan began dating Everton goalkeeper Jordan while in high school. The duo went on to tie the knot in 2020 and share three children together – Arlo, Ostara and Misty.
While the WAGs are currently loving life over the pond, Roy Keane was less than complimentary about them. The Manchester United legend slammed England WAGs for wearing shirts with their partners’ surnames on for the Three Lions opening clash with Croatia.
The Irishman was asked by his former team-mate Gary Neville what he’d banish to Room 101. And he told The Overlap: “Oh, the jersey? The World Cup, when all the players’ wives and families are going to the match, all the wives are in the jerseys with the players’ names on the back, wow.”
