European Aquatics has established the calendar of the clubs’ competitions in the 2026/27 season.
The European Super Cup between Barceloneta and Marseille will take place on September 30. The host hasn’t been determined yet.
The European cups’ season will start 12 days before the Super Cup, with the Champions League Qualifications scheduled for 18 – 20 September.
Two weeks later, the Group Stage will start. The first-round matches will be played on October 6 and 7. This phase of the competition ends with the 6th round on December 15/16.
Six rounds of the Quarter Final Stage will be played between February 2/3 and April 20/21.
There will be a long pause between Round 2 (February 9/10) and Round 3 (March 23/24) due to the national teams’ World Cup games. World Aquatics has yet to announce the details of the 2027 World Cup calendar. However, based on the CHL calendar, the qualifications will be held in January, and the Final Eight in February or March.
The Champions League Final Four will be held in mid-May (13 – 15), a month earlier than this year. The host of the Final Four hasn’t been announced yet.
The national teams will return to action late in June. The 2027 World Championships in Budapest will begin on June 28.
The Qualification Round of the Euro Cup is scheduled for October 9 – 10, and the Group Stage will be played between October 29 and December 27. The knockout round starts with the eight-finals (February 4 and 11). The quarterfinal matches will be played in March (10 and 20), and the semifinals in April (1 and 10). The finalists will clash in two matches on April 24 and May 8.

The Challenger Cup: Qualification Round I (November 20 – 22), Qualification Round II (February 12 – 14), Final Eight (April 1 – 4).
The women’s season will begin with the Super Cup on October 3 and culminate in the Champions League Final Four. As in 2026, the Final Four will be staged at the same venue as the men’s F4. The semifinals are scheduled for May 12, with the final and third-place match taking place two days later.
