Disney and F1 Academy have unveiled a dedicated merchandise collection set to launch at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Thursday 21 May, as the “Fuel the Magic” campaign grows ahead of round two of the F1 Academy race in Canada alongside the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix.
This follows the expansion of a multi-year agreement with the two brands, initially launching a limited-edition capsule at the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix. The duo continued its partnership at the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix with a Gentle Monster eyewear collaboration and pop-up stores across Seoul and Shanghai.
Now, F1 Academy is getting in on the action, with 11 new items being added to the Disney and Formula 1 product range and the launch of Disney and Formula 1 Uniqlo products, as well as a new Disney Store collection.
The F1 Academy-specific line features graphic tees with Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck dressed in F1 Academy-inspired race suits, hoodies with a Minnie Mouse wheel icon, as well as a number of other collectable accessories such as pins, keyrings and caps. While these will all be available to purchase at the track this coming weekend, select items will also be available online.
Liz Shortreed, senior vice president of Disney Consumer Products, said the Canadian Grand Prix represents a milestone moment for the partnership.
“As the Disney and Formula 1 collaboration continues to build momentum globally, Montreal marks an exciting next chapter,” she said.
“With Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck stepping into the spotlight, we’re creating products, content, and experiences that celebrate confidence and individuality, and inspire the next generation of female athletes and leaders.”

F1 Academy managing director Susie Wolff said the collaboration had opened the door to a fundamental rethinking of what racing merchandise could represent.
“We have a real opportunity to reimagine what racing merchandise can look like, especially as new audiences come into Formula 1,” Wolff told WWD. “Bringing Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck into the world of racing through our Disney x F1 Academy collection has allowed us to create something that feels modern, feminine and, most importantly, champions two fearless female characters.
“For us, it’s about more than just giving fans a way to show their support for F1 Academy; it’s about what this collaboration represents at its core. The power of women supporting women is central to everything we do — and this partnership captures that in a way that feels both authentic and creative. It reflects a new generation of girls and women coming into our sport and challenges outdated preconceptions about who belongs here.”
To cement the partnership, a Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck-inspired show car will be on display within the “Fuel the Magic” activation area at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, alongside apparel and accessories from the Disney x Formula 1 2026 collection and the Disney x Formula 1 core collection, as well as character appearances from both Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck.
Separately, a limited-release dog collection featuring harnesses, leads and a waste bag holder will make its debut in Montreal before a wider summer release.
The Montreal round runs from 22 to 24 May as a support series to the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix, with free practice and qualifying on Friday, the opening race and reverse grid race on Saturday, and the feature race on Sunday.
Canadian driver Autumn Fisher, aged 18, joins the grid as the Standard Chartered wild card entry for the round.
The Disney and WEBTOON original vertical comics series, Mickey x Formula 1: Racing to the Top!, which has been releasing new episodes on a race-by-race basis since its launch alongside the Australian Grand Prix on 6 March, will also publish a new episode timed to the Montreal weekend.
