England’s Football Association have released a non-committal statement in response to the findings of guilty against Manchester City.
An independent commission found the Citizens guilty of 114 charges, citing over £900 million of excess funds from ‘sham deals’.

With the repercussions still on-going and discussions about the future of the Premier League and what punishment should be dealt the FA have issued a brief statement on the case.
“The Independent Commission’s decision has significant implications for the integrity of the game. We are carefully considering the decision and its implications and will take action where appropriate,” the governing body said.
“As proceedings between the Premier League and Manchester City Football Club remain ongoing, we do not intend to comment further at this stage. We will, however, continue to monitor developments closely.”
City are expected to appeal the decision while other Premier League clubs are said to want to see punishment enacted this season.
