Fans of superstar Prabhas can breathe a sigh of relief! They have been waiting with bated breath to learn more about the developments surrounding the war drama, and the makers of the film finally have something to share. On the occasion of Prabhas’s birthday on Friday (October 23), a special video glimpse of Fauzi will be released.
Special Video to Showcase the ‘World of Fauzi’
The special video, set to be released on the occasion of Prabhas’s birthday, will showcase the world-building of Fauzi and give fans a glimpse into his character arc. “The special video unveils Fauzi’s story, what the film is about, and the message it carries. The video gives basic information about the film,” says Ravi Shankar, one of the film’s producers. “Please don’t expect huge things on the scale of Baahubali,” he added on a lighter note. The video will also be screened in select theatres, and the producer exudes confidence that it will enthral fans on the big screen.
The news has certainly got Prabhas’s fans excited! There are also reports that the film has taken over Spirit’s earlier release date of March 5, 2027. The makers are tight-lipped and do not want to commit to a release date for Fauzi, as a considerable amount of work, including pre- and post-production, remains to be completed.
Prabhas Plays a Warrior Soldier
In director Hanu Raghavapudi’s period action drama Fauzi, Prabhas reportedly plays a courageous, battle-worn soldier belonging to the Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army) during the 1940s, in colonial-era India. As a heroic soldier and officer fighting in pre-Independence India, Prabhas headlines a narrative that explores hidden chapters of the freedom struggle. The makers previously stated that Prabhas’s character design and emotional arc draw conceptual inspiration from classic epic warriors. They indicated that the superstar’s character would be a blend of Arjuna’s skill, Karna’s sacrifice, and Ekalavya’s devotion.
