Visakhapatnam: Five people were killed in an explosion during mining operations near Pinakota village in Ananthagiri mandal of Alluri Sitharama Raju district on Saturday morning.
A tipper truck overturned following the explosion. A teacher, a driver and three workers died on the spot.
Officials rushed to the spot following the incident.
