Hyderabad: Dr. Suchi Yaskhi, a senior physician and the wife of former Member of Parliament (MP) Madhu Yaskhi Goud, sustained severe injuries in a major road accident in the United States. According to medical professionals, she suffered multiple rib fractures in the crash.
The incident took place while the family was returning from Boston to New York after enrolling their daughter, Dr. Gagana Yaskhi, into her MD post-graduate medical course. Due to an excess of luggage, Madhu Yaskhi Goud and Dr. Suchi Yaskhi had decided to travel in two separate vehicles.
While en route, torrential rainfall caused the vehicle carrying Dr. Suchi to lose traction. The car spun out of control and overturned multiple times on the slick highway.
Dr. Suchi was rushed to a nearby medical facility, where she is currently undergoing treatment. Doctors have stated that while her injuries—including the fractured ribs—are serious, her condition is stable, and she is progressively recovering. The unfortunate accident occurred just a day before the couple was scheduled to fly back to India.
