Four teenagers have been charged with murder after the death of a 21-year-old man, allegedly bashed at an out-of-control party in Logan nearly two weeks ago.
The Redbank Plains man died in hospital on Saturday after succumbing to head injuries he suffered at a party in Bahrs Scrub, a suburb in Logan, on July 26.
Four teenagers, their ages ranging from 18 to 19, were arrested and charged on Thursday following investigations by detectives and homicide police.
Police were called to the address on Discovery Boulevard just after 2am following reports of a large disturbance.
They found a house and vehicles along the street with significant damage.
People fled the scene, leaving behind the 21-year-old who was found with significant head injuries on a nearby street.
He was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition but died after his life support was switched off less than a week later.
Detectives from the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch and the Homicide Investigation Unit executed 14 simultaneous search warrants across Logan, South Brisbane and Ipswich on Thursday.
Two 18-year-olds from Collingwood and MacGregor, and two 19-year-olds from Doolandella and Inala were arrested and charged with murder.
A 22-year-old Heathwood man has been charged with one count contravening an order about information necessary to access information stored electronically.
