Katie Price has suddenly vanished from Instagram as yet another mystery has presented itself regarding the ongoing drama with herself and her husband, who claims to have been detained in a Dubai prison

Katie Price has suddenly vanished from Instagram amid the ongoing mystery surrounding Lee Andrews. The ex-glamour model, 48, tied the knot with Dubai-businessman Lee in January just a fortnight after she had met him and and his whereabouts suddenly became unknown after he failed to board a flight to the UK for a scheduled appearance on Good Morning Britain almost two weeks ago.

But, just yesterday, Lee was found alive and made contact with Katie, where he claimed he had been arrested and detained on suspicion of espionage in a Dubai prison. She has tried to clear up some allegations Lee has faced, including his mysterious phone activity, and claimed to Lee that he is “now the most hated man in Britain”.

Katie often keeps her fans up to date via her Instagram account, on which she has 2.7 million followers, but now, when searching for her account (@katieprice), an error message now appears. It reads: “Sorry, this page isn’t available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed. Go back to Instagram.”

It is not known why Katie has deactivated her account, but her Facebook profile and Twitter handles remain active. The former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star hosts The Katie Price Show, a weekly podcast with her sister Sophie, and on Thursday’s episode, she said: “Oh, I did ask him [about his apparent phone activity]. “He hasn’t been on his phone. He hasn’t had his phone.

“He’s been interrogated. They’ve gone through his phone, so they’ve been mucking about on his phone. It’s not been Lee. He hasn’t got his phone.”

Sophie went on to ask him about the other woman Lee followed, but Katie denied Lee was behind this. It was revealed that Marisol, the woman Lee briefly followed, previously used an online matchmaking service for millionaires, The Sun reports.

But Katie told her sister: “What happened with that other woman was apparently she activated her account and maybe she followed Lee or Lee followed her years ago. They’ve never exchanged messages or nothing. So she’s blocked him and that’s why it’s gone back.”

Elsewhere, Sophie revealed their mum’s despair at Katie releasing a song for Lee during the search. She admitted their mum was “so p***ed off” when she heard the tune as Katie said she had recorded it for her.

Their dad’s reaction was similar, too. Sophie said she heard him listening to it upstairs and heard his groans of “oh my God”. Despite revealing her worry, Katie claim her friends had noticed how upbeat she had been throughout the whole saga. And she put it down to her years of therapy helping to change her mindset and not let her be distracted by things out of her control.

There had been speculation that Katie was involved in a publicity stunt surrounding Lee’s vanishing act earlier this month, although she vehemently denied these claims, and expressed her worry that Lee had become a victim of kidnap.

At the time, she added: “I’m really upset and distressed that people think I’m in on it. Are you joking? Come on, give me some credit why would I do that?”
